Fresh Markets LLC: MLC advised the principals of Fresh Markets in the financing and acquisition of the assets of three Zagara's Markets specialty food stores located in New Jersey and Pennsylvania from the Gennuardi's division of Safeway Stores. Fresh Markets was a new entity formed by the principals who had extensive foodservice industry experience.

P&A Engineering Company, Inc.: This family-owned paving and site work contractor on the Eastern Shore of Maryland had over 25 years of consistent growth and profitability. When the family decided to sell, MLC was retained to market the business to qualified buyers and successfully completed the sale to Xebec Ventures LLC.

Pritchard Brown LLC: MLC represented Chillicothe Metal Company in the acquisition of Pritchard Brown. Both companies are leaders in the manufacture of aluminum and steel enclosure systems for on-site power generation, telecommunication and other applications. MLC also assisted the buyer in obtaining acquisition and working capital financing.

Century Engineering, Inc.: Represented Riparius Corporation in the sale of its subsidiary Century Engineering Inc., a Baltimore-based civil engineering firm, to Smyth Acquisition, Inc.

Enviro-Industries, Inc.: Identified potential buyers for this manufacturer of aluminum enclosures for commercial equipment and ultimately negotiated the sale of the company's stock to Island Capital Corporation.

Fandango Productions, Inc.: Negotiated the sale of this rapidly growing special events planning and hosting company to F.P. Acquisitions LLC.

Michael Fox International: Served as financial adviser to this Baltimore-based commercial and industrial auction firm related to the sale of its stock to Pennsylvania-based AssetTRADE.com, Inc., a business-to-business internet site specializing in the acquisition and disposition of used industrial equipment.

Migliara-Kaplan & Associates Inc./Chesapeake Surveys Inc.: Represented these affiliated companies, both of which are engaged in market research for the pharmaceutical industry, in their merger with NFO Worldwide Inc., a New York Stock Exchange (NYSE)-listed company.

Seaboard Steel and Iron Corporation: Located potential buyers for this steel service center, and ultimately negotiated the sale of the bulk of the company's assets to a subsidiary of Metals USA, Inc., a NYSE-listed company headquartered in Houston, Texas.

Sequoia Software Corporation: Assisted this startup company, engaged in the development of optical imaging software for the storage and retrieval of medical records, in a private equity placement with venture capital investors.

Siems Rental & Sales Co., Inc.: Marketed this multi-location construction equipment rental and sales firm to potential buyers leading to the sale of the company's stock to Arizona-based Rental Service Corporation, a NYSE-listed company.

Sinclair Supply Company: Negotiated the sale of this wholesale distributor of building products to Allied Building Products, a subsidiary of Ireland-based CRH plc.

Wheaton Party Rentals: Represented this rental party supply company in the sale of its stock to Pennsylvania-based Select Capital Corporation.
